Pancakes, bagels, brioche and big breakfast plates with two organic eggs. Family-run, vegan-friendly, open every day from 8 to 18, inside or on the terrace.
Prenzel Café sits on the busy stretch between Ostkreuz and Boxhagener Platz, under a wood-slat awning with white chairs out front. The recipes come from the family who owns and runs the place; the eggs are organic, the pancakes are fluffy, and the coffee goes from flat white to pistachio latte and matcha.

Great place for a brunch or just a coffee! We tried the halloumi breakfast and the New Yorker breakfast, the pancakes were so good, super fluffy and tasty. Also I loved the pistachio latte, it really tasted of pistachio.
Barby · GoogleDelicious food, also because the ingredients are fresh and the recipes are from the family who owns and work here. The tables outside allow the view of a nice street of Friedrichshain. I felt at home and I will surely come back.
G. L. · GoogleMy dad and I had a really nice brunch here on a Sunday morning. I especially liked that there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The servers were very nice and helpful.
Antonia · GoogleWas really superb, would come again for sure.
